We are looking for a motivated and experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join our growing team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately 3+ years' experience in an accounting practice who is ready to take the next step in their career. While formal qualifications are welcomed, practical experience is our priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients
- Assisting with statutory audits
- Completing VAT returns and management accounts
- Preparing personal and company tax returns
- Assisting with bookkeeping and payroll where required
- Liaising with clients and providing day-to-day accounting support
- Supporting senior team members with client portfolios
What We're Looking For:
- Around 3+ years' experience in an accounting role (practice experience essential)
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and software (IRIS, Sage, Xero etc)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and client service skills
